The snow is slowly melting, it’s getting easier to deliver the mail or to go anywhere….and I’m enjoying the changes.
Snow’s OK….it’s a blast to spend time in the snow….and it is BEAUTIFUL….but I’m tired of it.
Sparrow woke up between us again…she must have crawled up into our bed at some point during the night….and the first thought I had when I heard her stirring was this one:
I NEED MORE BEACH.
I need more.
There’s something about going out into the wind and sand….the waves….the big horizon.
Hey!! Maybe it’s the big horizon that I crave….the Dakotas or Montana? Colorado? Big blue sky?
No…..they get a LOT of snow. Big sky or not….what I need is warmth and waves. That’s the “big sky” I need.
What I need right now is the warmth of the beach….that good sea smell….possibly/probably some good seafood in a cool umbrella’d patio restaurant….slightly sunburned and exhausted after a day in the ocean?
That is what I need…..MORE BEACH.
Gimme, gimme, gimme.
More beach, please.
