tracks

P1080060

The tracks that I don’t know about are easier to take.

That’s the trouble with snow….when you see a fresh set of “man tracks” or some tire tracks in a field where there shouldn’t be any trucks driving, it makes you pretty aware that somebody else has been checking things out.

That’s a bother.

You wish that people wouldn’t screw with things you own while you’re not around.

Of course, if it was me, I’d like to check out the abandoned looking house if I was having an adventure out walking around in 12″ of fresh, powdery whiteness.

People might be wondering about my tracks around their property.

Maybe.

No….probably not…not if there were “no trespassing” signs like I put up on our property.

I guess that what I’m thinking is that what I don’t know never hurts me.

The tire tracks across the field….and the truck parked in the road to the house….the truck that blocked our entrance….kind of pis upset me.

What the….heck? Who imagines that it’s OK to do that?

I’m going to have to put up a gate.

I’m going to have to fence that upper field.

I’m going to have to take a whiz in all the corners.

I’m going to have to mark my territory.

Owning stuff is a pain in the rear.

It’s those darn tracks that got me thinking about exactly why people were screwing around on that property.

Why?

What does it matter, really?

That place is like a “mini-park”….beautiful….and still full of crap….still full of some trash down in the ditch at the edge of the field.

It’s a trashy park.

Who wouldn’t want to explore a trashy park?

Everybody….that’s who.

Well…..I’ve got only one thing to say about that……

STAY OFF OUR FREAKING PROPERTY!!!!

IT’S MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNE!

(And….if you’re going to be on it, you better be levitating. I don’t want to see your tracks.)
