neck deep in it….who wouldn’t want to float away?

The remodeling project turned into something bigger….like it always does….and it’s a royal pain in the ….rear end.

Gads.

And….the computer is messing up to the point where I’m just going to format and start over.

What a pain.

But….Jenny brought me some ice cream….and when I finish that, I’m going to go take a shower and get all the sweat and sawdust washed off….and, maybe, I’ll feel better about things.

Nothing is all that big a deal….but, I still curse at the computer when it pops over to a new window in the middle of some inane thing I’m trying to type.

I need some rest….and a computer that doesn’t only do what it wants.

I go to work tomorrow after a couple of days off.

Maybe I’ll get some rest driving the mail around?

  1. You’re not alone!
I dread turning my computer on when I have to print stuff out. It takes about 1/2 a day to decide it’s working, & then zaps the life out of me. At least I don’t have to use one for work on a regular basis. The family iPad is holding up well for most things.
Today I ran for about 50 mins & just saw one perfect snail!
Have you had any chance to run again? Can be hard to justify downtime when there’s always something crucial that needs doing, but I kid myself I can stretch time…

    • Computer seems to be working….if I avoid our email program. Weird “workarounds”…. I would be a full-on luddite if it wasn’t fun to use the computer for some things. “One perfect snail”!! Sometimes I feel like the perfect snail when I’m running….but that’s an advantage of running in the dark…you don’t have the references you have when you can see what you’re passing. I haven’t run since I took over the longer route….in spite of having a new pair of shoes! I need to get back to it. “Stretching time” is a good skill….I try and do it all the time, too. Good to hear you’re running and doing OK….
