One of the things he says is that he viewed the album as “something to avoid repeating”.

What an artist!

The follow-up to Harvest was a great album called “On the Beach”…..but it was pretty different from the potential successful “formula” that he could have mined for a while.

It was a big swing away from the type of music featured on Harvest….and, maybe for that reason, is one of my favorites.

It would have taken a brave man to make an album like On the Beach after having an album with the success that Harvest had.
